ASA wins Tour Operator of the Year Award 2009

We are very pleased to inform you that ANGELA SHANLEY ASSOCIATES LTD has won the prestigious “UKINBOUND TOUR OPERATOR OF THE YEAR 2009” for the second year running as voted for by members of UKinbound at their Annual Convention in York last week. It is an honour to receive this award again, not least because the last 12 months have been such a challenging time for us all in the tourism industry, but also because it coincides once more with another record business year for Angela Shanley Associates. To have won this award for two consecutive years makes it all the more special and we would like to thank everyone for their invaluable support.

Rita Beckwith, Chairman of UKinbound, presenting the Awards, said:

In addition to our win two of our key partners in the UK also collected awards in their own categories respectively; Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill (Accommodation of the Year) & Hampton Court Palace, Historic Royal Palaces (Attraction of the Year).

UKinbound is the only trade association that represents the UK’s inbound tourism businesses including accommodation providers, destination marketing, attractions, tourism service providers, inbound tour operators, and UK ground handlers.

Angela Shanley Associates is proud to be a long term member of this association which is firmly established at the heart of the UK’s Inbound Travel Trade.
